Dublin 2002 Ireland V's Scotland

We set off to catch our flight from Prestwick to what we thought would be a long drunken weekend in Dublin.

We missed our flight ! Long story cut short.......

Road blocked head for B road to go round hold up (good idea if every one else hadn't thought of it) got to the airport 33 min's late. PUB...sitting there looking at my beer I heard some one say "FERRY" ? "we could get the ferry" A few calls later saw us heading for Troon to catch the saecat to Belfast.

Wached the rugby in the pub and jumped on the ferry. Celtic were playing at home that day so I got chating to fan on his way home.

After telling him our story I asked if he could recommend a B&B or a taxi. A few phone calls from our man (thanks a lot by the way) and we had a taxi waiting for us when we got to Belfast.

Arrived to join the rest of our crew (they flew from Edinburgh) at 01:30 (9 hours late but happy)

Thanks to everyone that helped us that weekend.
